Series 3

Episode 2 (the brief brief summary - longer version to come)

Heavy snow is falling. Several car accident victims are on the way and several staff members haven't arrived for work. Sam thumbs a lift in a snow plough.

Robert and Jack discuss a patient's broken leg.
Robert - "Not strictly orthodox."
Jack - "Nah, but it's a lot more fun though."

Raz (the anaesthetist) hasn't arrived for work and Jack manipulates the broken leg without a general.

Later, getting ready for an op, Jack has a go at Raz as Raz helps him on with his gown.
Jack - "So why didn't you drive in?"
Raz - "Have you been out there lately, Jack?"
Jack - "Yes I have. I'd have driven in."
Raz - (to David) "If he hadn't lost his licence last month, speeding."
Jack - "Bastards."
Raz - (to David) "He's very bitter."

Jack encourages David to apply for the surgical rotation.

An elderly man collapses in the waiting area.

Stuart and Louise argue over the parentage of the baby after discovering that Louise's dates don't tally.

Barry, a PE teacher, accidentally swallowed poison during a night on the grog. Robert and Cathy attempt to save him while organising Barry's wedding to his pregnant girlfriend.

Sam is stirring a few, er, hearts at St Victor's.
Cathy - "She's not Mother Theresa, is she?"
Terry - "With an arse like that, who cares, eh?"

Robert asks Chris out for a drink but she turns him down.

Robert 'comforts' Cathy who is having doubts over her relationship with Mike.
