Of all the cars stolen each year in the Metropolitan Police area, only a handful are taken to be used in a serious crime. When Linda Campbell spots a car being taken from outside her home she decides to challenge its occupants. Which is unfortunate because they are planning a robbery which goes seriously awry, and a policeman is shot. There is only one person who can identify the murderers the whole country wants caught. And that is Linda Campbell.
